Liberty Elementary School (LES)
Has an enrollment of 515 students in kindergarten through 5th grade. The school's mission statement is; "All students can learn. College Corner Union School (CCUS)
Uniquely situated on the Indiana-Ohio state line, serves 244 students from four counties: Union and Franklin Counties in Indiana and Butler and Preble Counties in Ohio. The K-5 instructional staff includes 17 full-time teachers, 1 part-time teacher and 5 paraprofessionals. There is also one full time teacher and one paraprofessional for the pre school class. Union County Middle School
Public school with an enrollment of approximately 438 students in grades six, seven and eight. The staff consists of 21 full-time certified teachers and 4 shared teachers. the staff also has 16 full-time support members. The administrative team consists of a building principal and assistant principal. There is a full-time licened social worker that is available as needed. Union County High (UCHS)
Home to approximately 450 students and 29 teachers. The community is proud of its student body and school. 85% of Union County High School students are involved in extra-curricular activities. Whitewater Memorial State Park
with it's 200 acre lake was established in 1949. The park is located one mile south of Liberty, Indiana and features a 1/4 mile sandy beach with swimming area, fishing, boating, 20 cabins, picnicking, horse trails, handicapped facilities, sightseeing and camping. The park is managed by the Indiana dept. of Natural Resources and is open year round. For more information call 765-458-5565.
Brookville Lake
was constructed on the east fork of the Whitewater river (south of Whitewater State Park) by the U. S. Army Corp of Engineers. The lake is 5,260 acres in size and about 16 miles long. It features a swimming area with beach, boating, fishing, camping, marinas, picnic areas, hunting, scenic drives, walking paths and food concessions. Brookville Lake is the only lake in Indiana that stocks pure strain Striped Bass and is one of only two lakes stocked with pure strain Muskellunge. Other species include White-Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, Redear, Perch, Channel Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye Rockbass and in April, Rainbow Trout are stocked in the tail water area below the dam. Museums & Historical Sites

UNION COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY - DEPOT MUSEUM
Built in 1886 - passenger service ceased in 1957- in 1989 was saved from demolition by the Historical Society and turned into a museum. The depot is open from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sundays in June-August, Founder's Day and by appointment.
FIRST MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH
Built in early 1920 and continues to serve its mostly black congregation today. Also used by the community who may reserve the community room for meetings, parties and receptions.
TEMPLETON LOG CABIN
Built in 1805, along the Whitewater River by John Templeton who was one of the original settlers of this area, coming here from the Carolinas; moved to the courthouse lawn for preservation by the Historical Society. It is open July 4th, Founders Day and by appointment.
WATER WORKS BUILDING MUSEUM
Purchased for the water works in 1895 and was only used as such until 1901. After that it was used as a residence. Plans for the house are to store and display local artists' work and serve as a site for various workshops. Genealogical
materials will be available at this location.
